We have a unique opening for a patent agent or technical advisor in Boston, MA. This opportunity is an excellent fit for someone with deep familiarity relating to biotechnology and preferably at least 1 years of IP experience. This opportunity's reference number is Job Posting No. 3113-202d.
We are currently recruiting for a strong opportunity within a well-respected and growing law firm IP practice wherein the diverse clientele consists of Fortune 500 companies, leading international innovators, start-up companies, and universities.
Here, you will focus on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and assist attorneys pertaining to a range of other patent protection issues as the needs arise (e.g., patentability and infringement opinions, competitive patent landscape assessments, patent portfolio due diligence, etc.) while working closely with clients, inventors, and other IP professionals.
Technical Specialist Requirements:
* USPTO registration or an interest in taking the USPTO exam
* PhD in biology or biochemistry
* Any experience relating to the preparation and prosecution of patents would be a huge plus, but is not required
* If you do not have patent preparation and prosecution experience, you must have notable postdoc and/or commercial research experience
