Eat Robotics is an innovative robotics company. I am hiring as the CEO of the corporation. By background, I am a dual-licensed attorney (licensed in both Canada and the United States) with extensive personal experience in intellectual property, currently holding three issued U.S. patents and two pending applications.
We are seeking a registered USPTO Patent Agent to establish our formal U.S. Counsel of Record and provide ongoing, lean procedural support under the new July 20, 2026 foreign-domicile mandate (37 CFR 1.31).
All application materials for this file are 100% completed to a rigorous professional standard, including the detailed specification, 4 independent claims (21 total claims), formal drawings, and a fully prepared Information Disclosure Statement (IDS).
Scope of Work
• Corporate Representation & Review: Act as the U.S. Counsel of Record for Eat Robotics. Conduct a streamlined professional compliance review of the drafted application to satisfy your 37 CFR 11.18 duties.
• USPTO Electronic Filing: Formally lodge the non-provisional utility application via Patent Center.
• Form Execution & Entity Management: Review and execute the ADS and Form PTO/SB/460 (Notification of Loss of Micro Entity Status) to lock in the corporation's Small Entity status.
• Ongoing U.S. Presence: Serve as our ongoing corporate correspondent for incoming USPTO communications. Future substantive responses (e.g., Office Actions) will be drafted internally by me and sent to you for final practitioner sign-off and lodging.
Fee Calculations & Financial Logistics
• Current Application Fees: Small Entity filing fees are exactly $1,440.00 (Base filing/search/exam of $800 + 5 excess claims at $400 + 1 excess independent claim at $240).
• Collateral USPTO Matter: We must concurrently resolve a $600.00 fee shortfall owed to the USPTO on a separate, unrelated Eat Robotics application.
• Payment Terms: To completely bypass Upwork platform fee markups, we prefer to enter our corporate credit card directly into the USPTO portal during submission. If you must use your firm's deposit account, we will issue a "grossed up" Upwork bonus to ensure you take home the exact $2,040.00 total government fees after Upwork's platform deductions.
Required Screening Questions

1. What is your USPTO Registration Number? (Applications without a valid registration number will be automatically declined).
2. What is your preferred flat fee for the streamlined administrative review, form signature, and initial filing of this completed package?
3. Are you open to an ongoing, lean transactional relationship where you bill a flat rate per submission for final review and sign-off on future Office Action responses that I draft internally?
