Wysebridge community guidelines (The cliff note version)
Wysebridge accounts are intended for members to participate in the community of those studying for the Patent Bar Exam and to utilize the study materials offered.
The following Community Guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to be a part of the family and community here at Wysebridge. Please do not forget that your use of Wysebridge is subject to these Guidelines and our terms of use below.
What to do
Be respectful and courteous
We’re a global community of many types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.
Respect the work of others
Respect the copyright of others. This means please do not steal material or copyrighted material or that other people have shared.
Please moderate your posts and discussions.
All content on Wysebridge, public and private, ought to be moderated in the highest respect for others, and will be subjected to approval. If your judgment appears to be lapsing, we’ll contact you to inform you of the issues, and if necessary, moderate your account and posts to adhere to the community guidelines.
Please feel free to let others know how you like Wysebridge but also link back to Wysebridge when you post your comments in other places.
Wysebridge makes it possible to utilize a large variety of resources to study. However, pages on other websites that display content appearing and hosting on Wysebridge.com must provide a link back to the site, and as always, material that has been paid for must not be posted elsewhere, or linked to, on any other site.
Please, enjoy our community!
WHAT NOT TO DO…
So, what we don’t want to do is have to act like Police. We know that mistakes will be made, and we’re up for second chances. However, please be aware that breaking any of the requirements listed below may result in a block of your account with or without warning.
Don’t upload or share anything that isn’t yours.
This includes other people’s work, documents, compilations, etc.
Keep the topics clean
The Wysebridge forums are a place to talk and discuss the patent bar exam, and other issues surrounding the exam. Please, be respectful and kind to one another, and don’t post abusive, impersonate, intimidating, or other comments deemed impolite. If we receive a valid complaint such activity, we’ll send you a warning and/or suspend your account
Please don’t display nudity or link to sites containing sexually explicit material
Uhh, this is pretty straightforward.
Please don’t upload content that is illegal or prohibited.
If it’s reported or we determine you are engaged in these activities, we will be forced to close your account and we’ll take the necessary steps / actions, which could include reporting you to the authorities.
Please don’t use Wysebridge to sell or solicit for sale
Again, this community is a place for studying and growing, not selling wares (be it related to the Patent Bar Exam, or anything else, for that matter). Any breaches of this kind could result in suspension of your privileges.
Last things to think about…
Other People
Do think about those around you who are also studying. If something comes up and you think there’s a reason to be worried (be it posts, behaviors), please feel free to report content and/or someone’s behavior to our staff via email (and provide specifics).
In Conclusion
You may also want to check out our FAQ. If you have any questions or comments, we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to shoot us an email!
