Every answer you give teaches the platform more about where you stand. Adaptive sessions route your next 20 questions to the chapters where you're losing points — not the ones you've already mastered.

Wysebridge tracks the outcome of every question you answer — correct, incorrect, time spent, chapter, and difficulty. Over time, this builds a comprehensive picture of your proficiency across all MPEP chapters that appear on the exam.
As your data accumulates, the platform calculates a proficiency score for each chapter. Chapters where your miss rate is high — or where you've done few questions — are ranked as high-priority. Chapters where you're consistently accurate are ranked lower.
When you start an adaptive session, the question queue is built around your current chapter rankings. Weak chapters get more questions, harder questions, and more frequent repetition. Strong chapters stay in rotation but at a lower weight. Your study time is automatically concentrated where it produces the highest return.
What the system tracks
Why it matters
Without adaptive routing, candidates tend to gravitate toward chapters they're comfortable with — reinforcing strengths while weaknesses compound. By the time they discover a gap in Chapter 1200 or Chapter 2200, exam day is a week away.
The adaptive engine prevents this by continuously redirecting your attention. You spend less time on what's already working and more time closing the gaps that will determine whether you pass or fail.
In every adaptive session
Each adaptive session is a 20-question set built around your highest-priority chapters. Long enough to be meaningful, short enough to fit into 30–40 minutes.
Every answer is explained right after you answer it — including the specific MPEP section so you connect each rule to where it lives.
At the end of each session, you see your accuracy by chapter, which questions you missed, and how your weak areas compare to your previous sessions.
Adaptive sessions slot naturally into the 8-week study plan — especially in weeks 5–8, when targeted gap-closing matters more than broad coverage.
The system routes intelligently from your first session. There's no configuration, no manual chapter selection — just start a session and the platform handles the rest.
Adaptive sessions work on desktop and mobile. 20 questions fits in a lunch break, a commute, or a focused evening session.
When to use it
Weeks 1–2 — Baseline
Use adaptive sessions to establish your starting point across all chapters. The system learns quickly from your first 60–80 questions.
Weeks 3–5 — Coverage
Adaptive sessions supplement your chapter-by-chapter reading, reinforcing what you've just studied while tracking where gaps are forming.
Weeks 6–8 — Gap-closing
This is where adaptive study is most powerful. Your full-length simulations reveal chapter weaknesses; adaptive sessions are the targeted fix.
Pair it with the question bank, the Prometric simulator, chapter heatmaps, and the 8-week study planner — all in one integrated system.
